VIDEO, IMAGE, VOICE and COMMENTS.
Guests grant permission to FEARAPHOBIA EVENTS to use photos, videos or other imagery taken in the course of the event for promotional and advertising purposes.
The promoter, its directors, officers and employees, related body corporates, and their respective officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the marketing of this promotion or use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs that is beyond the reasonable control of the promoter and prevents the promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation. The promoter reserves the right (subject to applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
The promoter reserves the right to re-draw the winner in the event of the following: (i) breach of these terms and conditions; or (ii) forfeiting a prize or (iii) not claiming a prize or (iv) inability to contact the winner.

PROPS, TOYS AND WEAPONS POLICY
This guideline has been developed to keep within the Queensland State Amended Weapon’s Act.
The event organisers, event staff and their representatives reserve the right to refuse any entry into FEARAPHOBIA SCREAM PARK of any prop they deem to be unsuitable or unsafe. FEARAPHOBIA EVENTS trained and paid actors and entertainers that are apart of FEARAPHOBIA SCREAM PARK event have been granted the allowance to use such props and will carry a crew card with them at all times for identification purposes.
IT IS AN OFFENCE TO OPERATE ANY REPLICA WEAPON IN A WAY, WHICH COULD REASONABLY CAUSE FEAR TO ANY PERSON UNDER THE QUEENSLAND CRIMINAL CODE.

ALL PARTICIPANTS OF FEARAPHOBIA SCREAM PARK MUST WEAR CARRY THEIR PROVIDED EVENT ID CARD IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO CARRY A PROP WEAPON AT THIS EVENT.
ANY REAL WEAPONS FOUND WITHIN THE EVENT WILL BE FORWARDED ONTO QUEENSLAND POLICE AND THE PERSON IT BELONGS TO WILL BE REFUSED ENTRY TO THE EVENT AND ANY PART OF FEARAPHOBIA IF THEY DO NOT COMPLY WITH OFFICIAL INSTRUCTIONS FROM the event organisers, event staff and their representatives.
Section 1 “Prop Bludgeoning devices’
This pertains to any form of prop weapon that resembles a Bludgeoning device and is not limited to Bats, Clubs, Sticks, Poles etc.
Any “Prop Bludgeoning device’ must not exceed a maximum overall length of 120cm
Any “Prop Bludgeoning device’ must not contain any form of hardened ridged core such as metal, steel or wood (fiberglass or plastics are ok as long as they do not exceed a circumference of 2.5cm as a core and are liable for a “Cut Inspection”)
Any “Prop Bludgeoning device’ must have a suitable soft outer cover made from either plastic or foam
Any “Prop Bludgeoning device’ must have a soft tip that cannot in anyway be used to stab or cause damage either by deliberate or accidental act
Section 2 “Prop Bladed Weapons”
This pertains to any form of prop weapon that resembles a Bladed Weapon and is not limited to Swords, Knives, Machetes etc.
Any “Prop Bladed Weapon” must not exceed a maximum overall length of 100cm
Any “Prop Bladed Weapon” must not be made of any form of Metal in any way shape or form
Any “Prop Bladed Weapon” must not have an edge that can be sharpened to a point or fashioned in a way that can cause it to be sharpened
Any “Prop Bladed Weapon” must not have a sharp point that can cause a stabbing injury to anyone be it a deliberate or accidental act
Any “Prop Bladed Weapon” must not contain any form of hardened rigid core such as metal, steel or wood (fiberglass or plastics are ok as long as they do not exceed a circumference of 2.5cm as a core and are liable for a “Cut Inspection”)
Section 3 “Prop Firearms”
This pertains to any form of prop weapon that resembles a Prop Firearm and is not limited to Rifles, Pistols, Assault Rifles, Small Arms, Grenades etc.
Any “Prop Firearm” must not exceed a maximum length of 110cm
Every “Prop Firearm” must have at least 1 visible inch (1 Inch) of either RED or ORANGE on the barrel and visible at all times
Every “Prop Firearm” must not be able to fire any form of projectile during the event (this includes but not limited to all forms of foam darts or hydro-expanding balls)
Any type of Magazine, Clip etc. must not contain any form of “Ammo”
All Magazine are recommended to have a 1 inch band of BLUE colour that is visible at all times
Any “Prop Firearm” must not contain any form of “Hard Metal” such as Steel, Iron etc (some forms of alloy or diecast metal are acceptable as they are a “Soft Metal” )
No area or part of a “Prop Firearm” can have a sharp edge capable of causing a cut or slicing injury
Weapon Attachments are permitted but must be rendered “inert” before event (such as battery removal)
Laser Attachments (L.A.M’s) will not be permitted within the event grounds or the walk itself.
All “Prop Firearm’s” are used with respect to others around you. Aggression in any form that is not wanted by another party or event goer will not be tolerated
At no stage should a “Prop Firearm” be used to intimidate or threaten anyone around you. This will not be tolerated
All “Prop Firearm’s” are subject to Event staff approval and this approval can be revoked at anytime.
